Rotary Club of Little Rock Midtown Projects - Volunteers in Public Schools (ViPS)
HOME
Rotary Club of Little Rock Midtown has just begun a partnership with ViPS to participate in
a tutoring/mentoring program at Terry Elementary School in the Little Rock School District.
Fellow Rotarians,

Thank you, again, to all who signed up to serve as mentors/tutors for
this project.  This email will go out to our Club members only, so if
your spouse has signed up to participate, please make sure they get
this message.

Unless you hear otherwise from the LRSD, you have been cleared to
volunteer.  As said at our meeting, and in previous messages, you are
on your own to schedule your times through Sally Saunders with
Terry Elementary starting Monday, October 11th through the end of
the school year.

Sally’s contact info:
sally.saunders@lrsd.org (preferred)
447-6581

We are, of course, not on our own time frame when it comes to the
flexibility of scheduling.  The children will be available from 9:05 to
11:15 in the mornings and from 12:15 to 1:30 in the afternoons.

If you have not already done so, please take the time to read the ViPS
Handbook for Volunteers serving as Mentors and Tutors.  It was the
yellow handout at our meeting on 9/27.

I’m looking forward to this being a wonderful project for our Club.
Thanks, again, for your participation.
A Message from our President, Greg Ramer
